Police release photos from robbery

Investigators in the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a man who robbed a Halifax business two weeks ago.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on July 29, a man entered a business located in the 5700 block of West Street in Halifax. The suspect approached the staff member and produced a handgun. He demanded money and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash before exiting the business. He then ran west on West Street where he entered a mid-sized, white, 4 door car and fled the area. 

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20’s, approximately 5’9″, slim build and wearing a dark grey hoodie.  

Investigators are asking anyone who can identify the suspect and/or who has any information on this incident to contact police by calling 902-490-5020.
