Police release photos of early morning convenience store robbery suspect

Halifax District RCMP is reaching out to the public for information related to a recent robbery that occurred in Lower Sackville. In the early hours of the morning, at approximately 2:20 a.m., local authorities responded to a distress call reporting a robbery at a convenience store on Beaver Bank Rd.

Authorities have provided a description of the suspect as a Caucasian male between the ages of 25 and 35, standing approximately 5-foot-6 with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was observed wearing a bandanna, a blue and white striped tuque, a red hoodie layered with a black jacket, and light grey pajama pants.

According to the preliminary investigation, a male suspect entered the store and forcefully demanded money from the employees. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene on foot. Reports indicate that the suspect was last seen heading towards Glendale Ave. The store employee did not suffer any physical harm during the incident.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. The RCMP is urging anyone with knowledge or information about the robbery or the identity of the suspect to come forward and assist in the case.
