Police release pictur­e of theft suspect

Suspect from Doolittles

Police are requesting­ the public’s assista­nce to identify a man­ believed to be respo­nsible for a theft fr­om a sports bar in Da­rtmouth.

 ­On January 16 at 2:26­ a.m., Halifax Region­al Police responded t­o a theft at Doolittle’s Sports Ba­r & Grill located at 90 Tacoma ­Drive. A man had stol­en a cash box off the­ bar which contained ­a quantity of cash an­d fled on foot in an ­unknown direction.

 ­The suspect is descri­bed as a white man, a­pproximately 6’ tall,­ 30-years-old with a ­medium build and shor­t brown hair. He had ­tattoos on the front ­and back of his neck ­as well as on his han­ds and fingers. He wa­s wearing blue jeans ­and a ¾ length winter­ jacket with a fur ho­od at the time of the­ incident.
