Police request assistance to identify suspect​ after shots fired in​ Cole Harbour

The General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is requesting public assistance to identify a suspect after shots were fired in Cole Harbour February 6th.

At approximately 4 p.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to calls regarding​ gunshots in Cole Harbour. The investigation revealed that two vehicles were seen travelling at a high rate of speed​ on Circassion Dr.

One vehicle, described as gold, beige or brown car​ with tinted windows,​ had a suspect in the passenger’s​ seat. The suspect, who is described as a Black male with a light complexion​ was seen​ firing a rifle at a white or silver 4-door​ car. A description of the driver is not available.

No injuries or property damage have been reported in relation to this incident. The investigation is ongoing and the RCMP Forensic Identification Section is assisting.
