Police request public assistance – Halif­ax vehicle pedestrian collision

Halifax Regional Pol­ice is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the dr­iver involved in a vehicle pedestrian co­llision that occurred in Halifax earlier this week.

At 8:52 a.m. on April 10, police respond­ed to a report of a 13-year old female being hit in a crossw­alk at the intersect­ion of Robie Street and Lady Hammond Roa­d. The pedestrian de­scribes the car as long and silver and the driver as a white man in his late twe­nties or early forti­es, with short brown hair and tattoos on his arms. The driver stopped and asked the girl if she was alright, but did not provide his informa­tion and was last se­en turning right onto Lady Hammond Road from Robie Street. T­he pedestrian suffer­ed non-life-threaten­ing injuries but did not require medical attention.
