Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a break and enter that occurred in December in Halifax.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. on December 2, 2017, a man entered the Pint Public House located at 1575 Argyle Street and took an ATM located at the back of the back of the restaurant. The ATM contained a sum of money. On December 7, the damaged ATM was located by patrol members in the 1500 block of Granville Street, however, the money wasn’t recovered.

Police are releasing pictures of the suspect and asking for the public’s help to identify him. He is described as a white man, in his 40’s, medium build, dark hair with a dark moustache. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light-coloured jacket and hoodie, jeans with a rip in the right knee and dark shoes/boots with light laces.
