Police Request Public’s Assistance Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a shoplifting incident that occurred last month in Halifax. On June 11, a woman entered a store specializing in sunglasses inside the Halifax Shopping Centre and took a number of sunglasses before leaving the store without paying for them.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a shoplifting incident that occurred last month in Halifax.

On June 11, a woman entered a store specializing in sunglasses inside the Halifax Shopping Centre and took a number of sunglasses before leaving the store without paying for them.

The same woman returned to the store on June 12 and again stole a quantity of sunglasses. The value of the stolen merchandise is over $7,500.

Police are releasing pictures of the suspect and asking for the public’s help to identify her. She is described as a white woman in her forties, medium build, short dirty blond hair and wearing rimless glasses. At the time of both incidents, she was wearing a light gray jacket, blue jeans and sneakers.
