Police respond to Injured person on the sidewalk

From Halifax Police:

At 11:30 pm. Central members responded to the area of Dresden Row and Clyde St. to a report of a male seriously injured and bleeding on the sidewalk.
The original reports suggest the male was a victim of an assault.  Once on scene officers observed an open 3rd story window in an apartment above the male.  The 50 yr. old male was rushed to the QE II hospital where he was pronouced dead this morning.  At this point in the investigation it appears that the male accidentally fell from a 3rd story apartment window.
