Police respond to man found dead in Wellington, Halifax, N.S.

RCMP are currently on scene of a death in Wellington.

At 9:57 a.m., RCMP were called to a residence on Pine Oak Drive to a report of a death of a 59-year-old male.

A resident of the house checked on the man and found him unresponsive. Police are treating the death as suspicious at this time until further investigation can be completed. The Medical Examiner’s Office has been called in to assist the investigators.

The matter remains under investigation.
