Police Respond to Numerous Accidents on Highway 102

 

Conditions on highway 102 were extremely treacherous on Thursday night.
 
Thursday March 15th 2012, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRS) N.S….. Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP ) Halifax District are presently responding at 2100 hours to numerous motor vehicle accidents on Highway 102, between the Robert L. Stanfield airport and Sackville. Some of these are injury accidents as a result of very treacherous and slippery road conditions due to the drop in temperature. Please slow down and approach these accident scenes with extreme care. Some of the RCMP members at these scenes are having a difficult time walking on the paved portions of the highway, due to the ice conditions.
