UPDATE ~ Police are no longer on scene at Rocky Lake Junior High. Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division will conducting the investigation.

There have been no charges been laid at this time.

At 10:04 a.m. police responded to Rocky Lake Junior High, 670 Rocky Lake Drive in relation to a threats call.

Staff were reporting that a student had received threatening messages involving a firearm. The threats were directed at the individual student and were received via social media from people who do not attend the school. Police are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
