HRP release:
On May 3, at approximately 8:20 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at a business located on Spring Garden Road in Halifax. Staff reported that a man threatened them with a knife and demanded money. Staff were not physically injured and the suspect fled on foot with a quantity of money. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’7” tall, with a heavy build and between 60 to 65-years old. At the time of the incident, the suspect had a full white beard and was wearing a black zip up jacket, army grey track suit, with a black stripe down the side of the pants, a camo green ball cap, black shoes, bright orange gloves and sunglasses.
