Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance in locating several die casts model race cars stolen from a residence on Dutch Village Road last month.

On August 9, at 12:45 p.m., police and HRM Fire and Emergency responded to a fire in an apartment in the 3700 block of Dutch Village Road. The apartment sustained severe damage from the fire and the investigation revealed the cause of the fire to be arson. Multiples items were also stolen from the apartment.  

 

Among the stolen items were a number of high-quality Nascar die cast model racing cars. The models were enclosed in plastic display cases and individually labelled with the last name of the driver. The following is a list of the stolen models:

 

·       Bobby Labonte

 

·       Dale Earnhardt – black

 

·       Daleda Earnhardt – red

 

·       Kevin Harvick – grey

 

·       Ryan Newman – black and blue

 

·       Jimmie Johnson – blue and grey

 

Anyone with information on the location of stolen model race cars or the identity of the suspects involved is asked to contact police at 490-501 6.
