Police seek owner of found money

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in returning found money.

On December 31, 2020 police received a report of money found at the Tim Hortons located at 7010 Mumford Road in Halifax. A man left behind a significant amount of money after he obtained his order and exited the coffee shop.

The man is described as dark-skinned, in his forties, wearing a red puffy jacket with black shoulders, dark pants, a toque and a face mask.

Police are asking anyone with information about this man or the money to contact police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.
