Bridgewater Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying individuals who may be responsible for a pair of vehicle fires that occurred in the community on the weekend.
On Saturday, September 27, 2025, at about 11:38 p.m., Bridgewater Police Service (BPS) and Bridgewater Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle on fire near 45 Pleasant Street on the community’s west side.
While Bridgewater Fire Department was extinguishing the car fire, police patrolled the area looking for potential suspects and witnesses.
About 30 minutes later, at 12:09 a.m., police encountered a second car fire. This time, the vehicle on fire was parked in a driveway located nearby on Queen Street.
While no injuries occurred as a result of the incidents, both fires are considered suspicious.
Stemming from the initial investigation, police are looking to identify and speak with three individuals who were in the area at the time of the fires.
