Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Suspect

Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man in relation to a sexual assault investigation that occurred on September 13 on Quinpool Road.
 
At approximately 11 a.m., a man entered a health clinic for an appointment. The man was introduced to a female employee and while being treated, he sexually assaulted her.  The man is described as having a dark olive complexion, 5’8” to 5’10”, 250 lbs with a shaved head. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a loose light colored shirt falling just above the knees and loose pants of the same color and was carrying wooden prayer beads. He provided a name of A. Al Saleh, spoke with a strong accent and indicated he was from Saudi Arabia, although police have not been able to confirm this information. Investigators in the Halifax Regional Police/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit would like to interview this man in relation to this incident.
