Police Seek Public Assistance in Identifying Thief

 

 
 
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man in
 
relation to a rash of thefts from vehicles in a parking garage on
Brunswick Street in Halifax.
 
The man is suspected to have broken into several vehicles over a span
of a couple of months and taken items such as loose change and
electronics. He’s described as being approximately 5’8 to 5’10, bushy
dark hair and full beard, wearing a blue jacket with white stripes down
the arm, a dark shirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers with white laces.
 
Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to contact
police at 490-5016. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by

Halifax Regional Police would like to remind citizens that locking your
doors, concealing valuables and parking in well lit areas are all great
ways to deter thieves. When possible, store all valuables in the trunk
of your vehicle or ensure they’re concealed prior to your
