Police Seek Public’s Assistance in Tower Terrace Theft From Vehicle

 
Halifax Regional Police is seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a theft from a vehicle that occurred in Halifax last week.
 
On the morning of October 20, a man went to his vehicle that was parked in the driveway of a residence in the 5700 block of Tower Terrace and, discovered that sometime overnight the rear driver’s side window had been smashed. Missing from his vehicle were a laptop bag and a drill. The black laptop bag contained business papers that spanned 40 years, including job quotes, photos and business contacts related to the man’s masonry/carpentry company.
 
A witness observed three men in their late teens walking on Tower Terrace toward Wellington Street around 11:30 p.m. on October 19 and, believed they were carrying the stolen items.
 
Officers are asking for public assistance in relation to this file. Anyone who may information about the suspects or who may have located the laptop bag and/or discarded business papers related to a masonry/carpentry company is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
