Police seek public’s assistance to return found property

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to returning property that was found in Dartmouth to the rightful owner.

Shortly before 1:30 p.m. on January 15, while using the Dartmouth Waterfront walking trail, a citizen located a backpack.  The backpack contained personal belongings and an undisclosed amount of cash.

 

Anyone who has information on this incident or have information that could lead to the return of the property is asked to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App.

Any member of the public who may need to inquire about lost or found property turned in to police is asked to call 902-490-5016.
