Police seek public’s help finding missing elderly man

Halifax Regional PoliceHalifax Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax man.

Seventy-nine-year-old Thomas Dixon walked away from his residence in the Clayton Park area at about 3:30 p.m. and has not returned. There is no information to suggest he has met with foul play, however, due to a medical condition, his family is concerned about his well being.

Mr. Thomas is a white man, 5-foot-8 and weighing 175 pounds. He is wearing a light colored baseball cap, blue shirt, beige pants and slippers. Anyone with information is asked to call Halifax Regional Police at 490-5016.
