Police seize drugs during search of a home, West Porters Lake, N.S.

Officers with the Drug Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant on a home today seizing quantities of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Early this morning officers with the Drug Section and the RCMP Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant on Boondocks Lane.

Officers seized quantities of cocaine, cannabis resin, cannabis marijuana, MDMA and drug paraphernalia. As well, a replica handgun was seized during the search.

A 25-year-old man and 27-year-old man, both from West Porters Lake, were arrested at the scene without incident and each are facing charges of four counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. They were released from police custody and are to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on January 7th, 2015. The investigation into this matter continues.
