The Guns and Gangs Unit of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division executed a search warrant at a home on Arklow Dr. in Cole Harbour this morning. During the search, officers seized a shotgun, brass knuckles and quantities of the drugs marihuana and dilaudid.
Twenty-five-year-old Diaz Mantley of Cole Harbour was arrested at the home and is charged with:
· Possession of a Controlled Substance
· Unsafe Storage of a Firearm
· Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
· Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Pubic x2
· Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Mantely appeared in Dartmouth Provincial Court today. He will be held in custody until another court appearance Monday morning in Dartmouth Provincial Court.
