Halifax Regional Police (HRP) will host a media launch of its Foundation, the Halifax Regional Police Foundation (HRPF), at police headquarters on Monday.

Like other major police services across Canada, police foundations have the potential to add long-term value to their communities by supporting and fundraising for funding innovative crime prevention and educational programming that complements policing.

The launch will also feature HRPF’s recent donation as well as its inaugural grant.

Local dignitaries, HRP employees, their community guests and a keynote speaker will participate as part of the program’s agenda.
