Pop-up COVID-19 testing at Halifax Shipyard

In conjunction with Nova Scotia Public Health, a Pop-Up COVID-19 testing site
has been established at Halifax Shipyard for employees who work at Halifax Shipyard. The testing site is in response to yesterday’s first-ever positive COVID-19 case at Halifax Shipyard.

Initial testing of ISI Halifax Shipyard employees will take place this Saturday from 10am-6pm and this Sunday from 9am-7pm. The focus this weekend will be on priority roles, production, and production support. Other sessions may be added as required.

Approximately 1,600 people work at Halifax Shipyard each day. We have temporarily suspended production activities at Halifax Shipyard. We will continue to collaborate with Nova Scotia Public Health regarding the resumption of production activities
when appropriate to do so.
