Monday, June 6, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that a part of Portland Street will be closed to traffic tomorrow (Tuesday) for catch basin repairs.
Portland Street will be closed between Victoria Road and Dundas Street. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m., weather permitting. The rain date is Wednesday, June 8.
Motorists can expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Emergency vehicles will be provided access at all times.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road closure or the work may cause.
