Thursday, June 9, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists to expect traffic delays in and around the intersection of Portland Street, Alderney Drive, and Prince Albert Road in Dartmouth. Municipal and contracted crews are exploring the underground infrastructure on one side of the intersection following the appearance of a sinkhole during some planned maintenance work taking place on-site. Lane drops and stop and go traffic are in place. Traffic control personnel will direct motorists and pedestrians around the work site as needed. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to find alternative routes, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by this work. Source: Release
