Potential COVID-19 exposures at 20 locations (Sep 30 2021 report)

September 30, 2021 Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Central, Western and Eastern Zones, and on several Halifax Transit routes. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here: http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures. As Nova Scotia moves into a stage of living with COVID-19 as we go about our daily activities, there will be changes in how Public Health communicates COVID-19 public exposures. We will no longer be issuing exposures based on the risk levels of low, moderate, or high. We will be issuing COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status. COVID PRECAUTION NOTIFICATION (there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public)If you were present at any of the following locations or on the following transit routes on the named dates and times for at least 15 minutes, you are required to follow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Precaution Notification based on your vaccination status. 

  • Sobeys – Lower Sackville (Downsview Mall – 752 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville) on:
  • September 22 between 3:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • September 23 between 3:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • September 24 between 3:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
  • September 25 between 11:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
  • Stubborn Goat Gastro Pub (1579 Grafton Street, Halifax) on September 25 between 4:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
  • Celtic Corner (69 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth) on September 25 between 7:45 p.m. and midnight. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 9.
  • Uncommon Grounds – Coffee Shop (1030 South Park Street, Halifax) on September 28 between 10:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
  • Swiss Chalet (358 Lacewood Drive, Halifax) on September 28 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
  • North Brewing Co. (899 Portland Street, Dartmouth) on September 28 between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 12.
  • The Local Public House (421 Lahave Street, Bridgewater) on September 22 between 5:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
  • Grand Banker Bar & Grill (82 Montague Street, Lunenburg) on September 24 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 8.
  • Swiss Chalet (8 Pinegrove Road, RR #2, Bridgewater) on September 26 between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
  • The Freight Shed: Waterside Bistro & Market (2 Jones Street, Baddeck) on September 26 between 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
  • Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Scotia Square to Sackville Terminal on September 22 between 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
  •  Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Sackville Terminal to Scotia Square on September 22 between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 6.
  • Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Scotia Square to Sackville Terminal on September 23 between 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
  • Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Sackville Terminal to Scotia Square on September 23 between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 7.
  • Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Scotia Square to Sackville Terminal on September 27 between 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 11.
  • Halifax Transit Route #008 (Sackville) which runs from Sackville Terminal to Scotia Square on September 27 between 6:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 11.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 24 between 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 8.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 26 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Dalhousie University to Lacewood Terminal on September 26 between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.
  • Halifax Transit Route #004 (Universities) which runs from Lacewood Terminal to Dalhousie University on September 26 between 5:15 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, October 10.

 For those who require testing, book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location. Anyone who is travelling within Canada into Nova Scotia, from outside of Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, must follow the provincial travel regulations based on vaccination status.
