Potential COVID-19 exposures at 30 locations (Dec 10 2021 report)

Nova Scotia Health Public Health is advising of potential exposures to COVID-19 at locations in Central, Eastern and Western Zones. There are also corrections previously issued notifications. In addition to media releases, all potential exposure notifications are listed here: http://www.nshealth.ca/covid-exposures. As Nova Scotia moves into a stage of living with COVID-19 as we go about our daily activities, there will be changes in how Public Health communicates COVID-19 public exposures. We will no longer be issuing exposures based on the risk levels of low, moderate, or high. We will be issuing COVID precaution notifications and COVID exposure notifications, where your self-isolation and testing requirements will be based on your vaccination status.   • Lanes at Membertou (185 Towerview Pl., Membertou) on:

o  Dec. 1 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. o  Dec. 2 between 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 16.

  • *UPDATE: Candid Brewing Company (88 College St., Antigonish) on Dec. 2 between 7:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 16.
  • *UPDATE: Piper’s Pub (33 College St., Antigonish) on Dec. 2 between 8:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. (Dec. 3).  It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 17.
  • St. Francis Xavier University – Amelia Saputo Centre (Main gymnasium – Coach K Court) on Dec. 3 between 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 17.

 

  • St. Francis Xavier University – Morrison Hall (dining hall) on:

o  Dec. 3 between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.o  Dec. 5 between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.o  Dec. 7 between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.o  Dec. 7 between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.o  Dec. 8 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 22.

  • St. Francis Xavier University – Angus L. Macdonald Library on:

o  *UPDATE: Dec. 4 between 10:30 a.m. and 9 p.m.o  Dec. 5 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.o  *UPDATE: Dec. 6 between 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.o  Dec. 7 between 11 a.m. and 11:30 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 21.

  • *UPDATE: Brownstone Restaurant (244 Main St., Antigonish) on Dec. 4 between 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

 

  • *UPDATE: Coldstream Clear Distillery (25 James St., Antigonish) on Dec. 4 between 2:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

 

  • Pizza Delight (348 Main St., Antigonish) on Dec. 4 between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.
  • Dooley’s Antigonish (26 College St., Antigonish) on Dec. 4 between 10:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. (Dec. 5). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 19.
  • *UPDATE: Boston Pizza (133 Church Street, Antigonish) on Dec. 5 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. and between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 19.

 

  • Townhouse Restaurant (76 College St., Antigonish) on Dec. 5 between 3 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 19.

 

  • Snappy Tomato Pizza (38 James St., Antigonish) on Dec. 5 between 3 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 19.
  • The Tall and Small Café (342 Main St., Antigonish) on Dec. 8 between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 22.
  • Discovery Centre (1593 Barrington St., Halifax) on Dec. 3 between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 17.
  • Antojo Taco + Tequila (1667 Argyle St., Halifax) on:

o  Dec. 3 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.o  Dec. 6 between 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.

  • Scotiabank Centre – Thunderbirds game – Section 14, Row G (1800 Argyle St., Halifax) on Dec. 4 between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.
  • Mary’s Place Café II (5982 Spring Garden Rd., Halifax) on Dec. 4 between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.
  • Hotel Marriot Halifax – Breakfast area (1919 Upper Water St., Halifax) on:

o  Dec. 6 between 8:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.o  Dec. 7 between 7:15 a.m. and 9 a.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 21.

  • St. Mary’s University – Patrick Power Library (5946 Inglis St., Halifax) on Dec. 6 between 3:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.
  • Two Doors Down (1533 Barrington St., Halifax) on Dec. 6 between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.
  • Edna (2053 Gottingen St., Halifax) on Dec. 7 between 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 21.
  • Big Leagues (920 Cole Harbour Rd., Dartmouth) on Dec. 3 between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 17.
  • Dartmouth Sportsplex – arena (110 Wyse Rd., Dartmouth) on Dec. 4 between 6:15 p.m. and 10 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.
  • Queens Place Emera Centre (50 Queens Pl Dr., Liverpool) on Dec. 4 between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at the following locations on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

COVID EXPOSURE NOTIFICATION (the public has had close contact with someone who hastested positive for COVID-19)If you were on the following flights in the specified rows and seats or were present at the following locations on the named dates and times, you are required tofollow the instructions in this table for a COVID-19 Exposure Notification based on your vaccination status.

  • Grindhouse Cafe (294 Main St., Antigonish) on Dec. 3 between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 17.

 

  • CrossFit Actuate (1644 Brierly Brook Rd., Antigonish) on: 

o  Dec. 3 between 10:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. o  Dec. 6 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.

  • *UPDATE: Candid Brewing Company (88 College St., Antigonish) on Dec. 4 between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

 

  • St. Francis Xavier University – Somers Hall (BD Section) on Dec. 4 between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

 

  • St. Francis Xavier University – Power Hall (AA Section) on Dec. 4 between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 18.

 

  • GoodLife Fitness (26 College St., Antigonish) on:

o  Dec. 4 between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.o  Dec. 6 between 6 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.o  Dec. 6 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named dates may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20. 

  • *UPDATE additional rows and seats: Air Canada 8106 travelling on Dec. 5 from Montreal (7:15 p.m.) to Halifax (9:45 p.m.). Passengers in rows 16 to 22, seats A, C and D and passengers in rows 14-20, seats C, D and F. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 19.
  • Lower Deck Bar (1887 Upper Water St., Halifax) on Dec. 5 between 8:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. (Dec. 6). It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.

 

  • St. Francis Xavier University – Bloomfield Campus (Dining Hall) on Dec. 6 between 11:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus at this location on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, Dec. 20.

 For those for whom testing is recommended or required, please book your COVID-19 test at https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or call 811 if you don’t have online access, or if you have other symptoms that concern you. When booking your test online, please select the reason for testing as: I was at one of the exposure sites at the date and time identified in a recent Public Health public service announcement or letter where testing was recommended. Please get tested at a COVID-19 testing centre or public health mobile unit; do not go to a pop-up rapid testing location. Anyone who is travelling within Canada into Nova Scotia must follow the provincial travel regulations based on vaccination status.
