Premier Stephen McNeil congratulated Philippe Couillard today, April 8, on becoming premier-elect of Quebec after his victory in the provincial election.

“The democratic process is a cherished foundation of our way of life in Canada, and I want to congratulate Premier-elect Couillard on his victory in the election in the province of Quebec,” said Premier McNeil. “I look forward to working with him, and all of Canada’s premiers, as we tackle issues of mutual importance for our provinces.”
