Premier Thanks Gosse, Corbett for Service

Premier Stephen McNeil today, April 2, thanked Gordie Gosse and Frank Corbett for their service to the province. The two MLAs announced their resignation today.Mr. Gosse was first elected in 2003 and served as Speaker of the House from 2011 to 2013.

Premier Stephen McNeil today, April 2, thanked Gordie Gosse and Frank Corbett for their service to the province.

The two MLAs announced their resignation today.

Mr. Gosse was first elected in 2003 and served as Speaker of the House from 2011 to 2013.

Mr. Corbett was first elected in 1998 and served as deputy premier, house leader and held a number of ministerial portfolios.

“Gordie and Frank have both made significant contributions to the province and the people of Nova Scotia,” said Premier McNeil. “Since being elected, both have been strong and passionate advocates for their constituents.

“I thank both men for their service and I wish them all the best in their retirement.”
