Premier Stephen McNeil will promote economic and investment opportunities in Nova Scotia during meetings in Calgary from Wednesday, Oct. 24 to Friday, Oct. 26.
The premier’s agenda includes meetings with WestJet, companies in the energy sector and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
“We are pleased to see WestJet’s success with its new direct routes from Halifax to Paris and London,” said Premier McNeil.
“Adding air connections opens up opportunities for economic benefits for our province through tourism, business travel, students and immigration.”
Premier McNeil will also participate in a celebration marking WestJet’s 15 years of investment in Nova Scotia.
