Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Preston Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic on Saturday, Sept. 19, for the 10th annual QuinFest Family Fun Day.
The street will shut down between Quinpool Road and Pepperell Street starting at 9 a.m. Saturday and remain closed until about 5 p.m. Temporary No Parking, Special Event signs will be installed later today on Preston Street in preparation for Saturday’s event. Parking will be permitted when the street reopens.
QuinFest is a time to meet and mingle on the street with plenty of fun, food and free entertainment for all ages. For more information on the festival, please visit http://www.quinfest.com/.
