Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that drilling work will take place beginning today through Saturday, Jan. 30, on Prince Albert Road near Pleasant Street and within the Dartmouth Canal Greenway to the west of Prince Albert Road.
The drilling is required to collect soil samples and install monitoring wells at the former Starr Manufacturing industrial site as part of the Dartmouth Canal Greenway project.
Motorists and residents are advised there may be periodic noise disturbances and traffic disruptions throughout this work; traffic control personnel will be onsite.
The municipality regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by this work.
