Propane tanker overturned on Hwy 103

Police are on the scene of an overturned propane tanker truck on Hwy 103. The highway is closed in both directions.

Shortly before 8 a.m. today, Shelburne RCMP received a 911 call of a propane tanker truck with a full load overturned on Hwy 103. Motorist, depending on direction of travel, be required to return to either Liverpool or Shelburne to access Hwy 101. There have been no injuries and there is no indication of a propane leak at present. Emergency crews are on scene.

The investigation to determine cause is under investigation. Motorists should expect delays and are cautioned to avoid this area.
