Proposed Redevelopment – 1665 Barrington St. (former Little Mysteries Books) 

Here is a new redevelopment proposal by Starfish Properties for their property at 1665 Barrington St. in downtown Halifax. This three storey building was most recently the home to Little Mysteries Books and is beside the Roy development that is under construction. The developer plans to restore the original facade and adding three additional floors that will be set back 10 feet from the street wall. They also plan on restoring the original window layout on the 2nd floor which will look the same as the 3rd floor. It has not been decided yet if the units on the upper floors will be used for commercial or residential.
