Prospect Road Public Transit Business Plan Released

In early 2010, the ROC applied for and received funding from the provincial government’s NS-TRIP program to operate a pilot transit service for the Prospect Road area.

In June, 2010, a public meeting was held by the ROC to solicit feedback from the community. As an outcome of that meeting, a volunteer committee, the Prospect Road Transit Pilot Committee (PRTPC) was struck.

Over the summer of 2010, an online survey was undertaken to solicit additional input from the community (see Appendix A of the attached plan).

This business plan outlines how the ROC plans to operate the Prospect Road Transit Pilot. Download the Business Plan Document
