Provincial election: Find your voting location

Tuesday November 26 is election day in Nova Scotia. On election day voters may vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district.

Election day polls are assigned by civic address. Voters can find their election day poll location by entering their civic address in the ‘where do I vote’ tool on Elections Nova Scotia’s website at electionsnovascotia.ca.

On election day voters can also voter at their returning office. A chart of returning office addresses and contact information by electoral district is available on Elections Nova Scotia’s website at electionsnovascotia.ca.

Voters can also call the public call centre at 1-800-565-1504 to find their assigned election day poll location or the returning office in their electoral district.

On election day, voting will be done by traditional paper ballots at election day voting locations and by e-Ballot at returning offices. Polls will be open from 8 am – 8 pm. 

Voters in Nova Scotia should remember to bring their ID when they vote on election day, but it is not necessary. Eligible voters can register when they vote and take an oath to attest to their eligibility if they do not have current ID.
