The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Halifax Transit bus and Access-A-Bus riders may experience service disruptions due to unanticipated technical difficulties with the Halifax Transit communications system. Ferry service is not impacted.

Adjustments are being made to Halifax Transit bus and Access-A-Bus services to ensure the continued safety of riders and Transit Operators, which may result in service disruptions for some routes.

Halifax Transit teams are working to address this issue and maintain service until this issue can be resolved and normal service can resume. The municipality is not able to provide an estimated time for full-service restoration at this time.
