Road Closure – Almon Street
Location: Almon Street from Connaught Avenue to Connolly Street
Date: Thursday, November 16 to Thursday, December 7
Time: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Work details: This closure is to facilitate traffic signal upgrades which supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%2520StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network. Traffic impact: There will be no access to Connaught Avenue from this section of Almon Street. Pedestrian and vehicular detours will be in place. Residents should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
