Road Closure – Upper Water Street at Barrington Street
Location: Intersection of Upper Water Street at Barrington Street
Date: Saturday, Oct. 12 to Tuesday, Oct. 15
Time: 8 p.m. on Saturday to 7 a.m. on Tuesday
Work details: This work is required to facilitate the installation of underground electrical infrastructure in support of the Cogswell District project<www.halifax.ca/cogswell>.
Traffic impact: Residents will be detoured via Duke and Cogswell streets. Local access to Purdy’s Lane, the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel and the Casino parkade will be maintained via Lower Water Street. Access to the Casino only will be maintained via the Barrington Street and Upper Water Street intersection.
Transit impact: Transit routes that travel along Upper Water Street will be detoured via Cogswell Street. There will be no impact to bus stops.
