Work details: The closure is necessary to assess and make repairs to the bridge near 283 Windsor Drive due to the storm damage caused by the floods in July. These repairs support the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%2520StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: The nature of the work requires that a section of Windsor Drive be closed to all vehicles. Detour signage will be in place for all users for the duration of the closure. Traffic will be detoured onto Buckingham Drive while work is underway.
