Time: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
Work details: This work is for the construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Larry Uteck Boulevard, Broad Street South and Brookline Drive. This project supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%20StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network and will improve access to and from current and future developments in Bedford West.
Traffic Impact: Motorists and cyclists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Traffic lane reductions and temporary street closures will be required throughout construction to complete the work. Further announcements will be issued for any street closures or detours.

Construction during COVID-19: Construction crews will strive to maintain physical distancing measures. However, residents may see workers within two metres of each other while completing certain tasks, which aligns with the exemptions outlined in the Provincial Health Order. If approaching construction crews, residents are asked to maintain at least two metres of physical distancing.
