Road Construction – Lower Water Street

Location: Lower Water Street, between Salter Street and Prince Street

Time: 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Work details: This work is for pavement maintenance. This project supports the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan<www.halifax.ca/sites/default/files/documents/city-hall/budget-finances/2021%20StrategicPrioritesPlan_Final.pdf> to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.

Traffic impact: A detour will be in place to direct traffic up Salter Street during work. There will be no access to Lower Water Street via Sackville Street during this time. Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternative routes whenever possible.
