Traffic Delay – Upper Water Street Location: Intersection of Upper Water Street and Purdy’s Lane
Date: Friday, August 23 until Sunday, August 25
Time: 7 p.m. on Friday evening to 9 p.m. on Sunday evening
Work details: A weekend lane drop on Upper Water Street is required to support the Cogswell District project<www.halifax.ca/cogswell>. This lane drop is required to permit the safe demolition of the final section of the overpass retaining wall, including the removal of traffic signals.
Traffic impacts: Traffic personnel will be on site to direct traffic. The Purdy’s parkades will remain open. Motorists should expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.
