Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Langley Avenue – Water Main Repair
Sunday, Dec 18, 2022 – Halifax Water crews are on-site for an emergency water main repair on Langley Avenue in Dartmouth. Water service will be temporarily shut down in this area — there is no current estimate of time for service restoration.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the work zone, and personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows.
Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until it is clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
