Water Service & Traffic Advisory – Roosevelt Drive – Water Main Repair
(December 10, 2022) Halifax Water crews are onsite investigating a water main break near 2545 Roosevelt Drive. Water service will be temporarily shut down in the surrounding area, and there is no estimated time for completion. There will be stop-and-go traffic in the work zone. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to manage traffic flows. Due to this work, sidewalks are closed on Roosevelt and also on parts of Quinpool Road. Customers in the area may experience discoloured water during/following this repair. It is recommended that those customers run the COLD water at one faucet until the water runs clear. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
