Public Good Society: Working to solve complex social issues

AGM Poster 2015

Have you head of The Public Good Society of Dartmouth?

It’s a non-profit group formed ten years ago by a group of concerned citizens. PGSD is committed to enabling positive change for people living in vulnerable circumstances in our community.

It is presently involved with four on-going projects: a community van, a program called Connections That Work, the Dartmouth Housing Help Office, and research around poverty issues.

PGSD is holding their AGM on Wednesday, February 25th at 5:30 at First Baptist Church Hall.  Starr Dobson, President and CEO of the Mental Health Foundation, will be the guest speaker.

Everyone is welcome, and it’s a great opportunity to learn more about this inspiring organization.
