Public mischief charges follow false abduction call – Fall River

Just before 6:00 p.m. on November 10, Halifax District RCMP responded to a call of an abduction of a 16-year-old girl. The girl sent texts to her mother and told her that some people were trying to take her out of the province. The RCMP made immediate patrols and made several inquiries, only to find out that the girl was with friends in Liverpool.

The RCMP arrested the girl in Greenfield, Queens County, and transported her to a family member’s home and released her. She is facing charges of Public Mischief and is scheduled to attend court in Halifax on December 20.
