Parking permit restrictions for winter season on select downtown streets
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists that there will be restrictions on monthly parking permits on a select number of downtown streets for the winter season. These restrictions will be in effect Friday, Nov. 15, 2019 to Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
Monthly parking permits will not be available for the following streets:
Artz Street
Creighton Street between Cogswell St and Falkland St
Maynard Street between Cogswell St and Cornwallis St
Falkland Street
Please note that the restrictions do not apply to those wishing to purchase residential permits.
These changes will be in effect until April 15, 2020.
Restricting parking permits on these streets will help winter crews in snow clearing during a winter storm event.
