Road Closures – Manulife Dragon Boat Festival
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that a number of streets in Dartmouth will be closed on Saturday, June 15 to accommodate the 22nd annual Manulife Dragon Boat Festival on Lake Banook.
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Prince Albert Road will be closed between Hawthorne and Sinclair streets. Banook Avenue and Boathouse Lane will be closed beginning at 7 a.m.
There will be no parking on any of the closed streets. All affected streets are scheduled to reopen by 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The Manulife Dragon Boat Festival is an annual fundraiser for the Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund, which helps to increase sport participation by supporting community-based programs throughout Nova Scotia. For more information on the event, visithttp://www.dragonboat.halifax.ns.ca/
